Welcome

My name is Krystal Swoboda, and I am a passionate educator dedicated to innovation, equity, and continuous growth in teaching and learning.

I hold a B.Ed degree in Elementary Education and a M.Ed in Secondary Education, as well as a M.Ed in Gifted Education with an emphasis in curriculum development from the University of Missouri–St. Louis (UMSL). My professional credentials include certifications in Special Education, TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), Gifted Education K–12, and Reading Specialist, allowing me to serve a wide range of diverse learners.

Over the last twelve years, I have taught English Language Learners and Gifted students, designing curriculum, mentoring colleagues, leading professional learning, and advocating for inclusive practices that honor every student’s strengths and identity.

I am an active member of Kappa Delta Pi, International Honor Society in Education,  National Society of Leadership and Success, and the National Education Association, reflecting my commitment to leadership and lifelong learning. These communities, along with my work in curriculum development and teacher training, have fueled my desire to push education forward in meaningful and practical ways.

Why This Website Exists:
I created this platform to serve as a space for collaboration, reflection, and shared innovation. Here, educators can:

Exchange authentic classroom strategies and resources

Explore research-based practices for gifted, multilingual, and diverse learners

Engage in thoughtful conversations that challenge and support growth

Celebrate creativity, student voice, and teacher-led leadership

I believe that when educators learn together, we elevate our practice—and ultimately, the lives of the students we serve. I hope that this website becomes a place where inspiration meets practicality and where every visitor leaves with something they can use, reflect on, or share.

"Teachers are in a  perfect position to collaborate and to integrate what research tells us about teaching with our practical experience and that of others.."

Thank you for being here. Let’s keep learning forward—together.
